The Land
Located on an urban plot in Ankara's Gölbaşı district, the project is surrounded by parks and benefits from natural daylight throughout the day.
The Design Approach
Defined by a restrained material palette and a clear, legible composition, the building brings educational and social functions together within a compact and easily understood spatial framework. Classrooms are arranged to receive balanced daylight throughout the day, while a protected internal courtyard introduces privacy, natural ventilation, and an additional source of light at the heart of the plan. Larger shared programs, including the conference centre, are separated from the daily circulation of the school to allow independent use. At the same time, they remain carefully integrated into the overall architectural scheme, enabling all functions to operate as a coherent whole.
